Guided tour of the house followed by a master class on how to make some of Ireland’s best known drinks – Irish Coffee and Hot Whiskey.
Dinner will be followed by a small concert from a pianist playing some of Ireland’s best known classical tunes.
Saturday 17th
Following time at leisure to enjoy Ballyfin, gather by the fire in the library to listen to the story of St Patrick recounted by a wonderful local story teller.
For pre-dinner drinks this evening, taste a selection of beers from some of Irelands best artisanal brewers matched with some local foods.
Following a wonderful St Patrick themed tasting menu, join fellow guests in the Ballyfin bar for entertainment from some of Ireland’s finest traditional Irish musicians and dancers.

This weekend is all about taking time out and being utterly spoiled. Allow the team at Ballyfin to cater to your every whim.
Book one night and your room will include a candle lit seaweed bath in the comfort of your own bathroom where you can ease the stresses away, while enjoying herbal tea, fresh fruit and cookies. Enjoy champagne cocktails by the fire in the library before an exquisite tasting menu, then retire to the saloon where you will relax in front of the fire and listen to the pianist playing classical favorites.

Friday 6th
Friday evening, enjoy a tasting of the grand cru’s of chocolate and learn how to match chocolate with wine.
Following dinner in the state dining room, enjoy music and coffee in the saloon with the pianist.
Saturday 7th
The sumptuous tasting menu this evening will explore chocolate at its best, included in many surprising ways on the menu. After dinner you will have the opportunity to meet with the Chef and learn a few of his secrets.
Sunday 8th
Explore Ballyfin and enjoy a grown up Easter egg hunt. Your efforts will be rewarded with a chocolate afternoon tea in the library.
