March 2018 Issue

Dear Friends,
The art of travel is a concept JCR hotels graciously embrace. And live by. From food art and presentation, to chic designer décor and elegant gardens, to original paintings and sculpture.

This month, as we celebrate the depth and scope of art in our hotels, we celebrate too, the addition of new works: Velaa Private Island in the Maldives and Katikies Mykonos, opening June 1 in Greece. We also, after a long and inspiring run, say goodbye to The Lungarno Collection, Italy, which is bringing its sales efforts in house. Please now direct all Lungarno inquiries to reservations@lungarnocollection.com.

Happy reading...

Warm Regards,
Jaj and Anthony

TURTLE ART AT VELAA PRIVATE ISLAND

Velaa Private Island

In the local language, "Velaa" means turtle. And sea turtles are certainly celebrated here. Turtle motifs and colors/patterns of turtle shells permeate the property - which is shaped like a turtle. Over-water villas resemble a turtle head; the island its body. To learn more about Velaa, link to our informative webinar.
