Gallery Hotel Art in Florence  is extremely excited to present the Marilyn exhibition, offering the public an unparalleled and rare access to Marilyn’s life through the iconic imagery from Getty Images, making this exhibition a perfect tribute to one of Hollywood’s greats.

In the run-up to the 50th anniversary of the star’s untimely death in August 1962, the exhibition shows a rare and unique set of images focused around screen legend Marilyn Monroe. The images celebrate her life, tracing the actress’ rise to stardom from her early years as an aspiring actress to her status as an international sex symbol.

Previously on display at the Getty Gallery in London, the memory of Marilyn continues in Florence at the Gallery Hotel Art, which includes a collection of black and white shots dedicated to the diva.

Gallery Hotel Art is a stunning design hotel and part of the Lungarno Collection owned by the Ferragamo Family, with a fabulous city location just next to the Ponte Vecchio and walking distance from the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and Palazzo Pitti.
