With great pride, Janine Cifelli Representation (JCR) welcomes Annandale, a stunning coastal property located on South Island, New Zealand, to its collection. Annandale combines extraordinary villas with sea-and-bay views for the ultimate Kiwi-style relax vacation.
“Annandale is super special – informal yet upscale, relaxing, one with nature, but with every creature comfort,” says founding partner, Janine Cifelli. “We are thrilled to welcome Annandale (sister property to Lake Kora) to the JCR family.”
The estate, sprawling acres of coastline and waving meadows, houses only four villas – each different in architectural style and ambiance from the other.
“Homestead,” the largest, was originally built in the 1880s and now completely renovated, features five bedrooms, a swimming pool, tennis court, gardens and deck.
“Scrubby Bay,” surrounded by hills, is uber private, overlooking its own bay. Accommodating up to 14 guests, this villa features a swimming pool, open fire and deck area, and chef’s kitchen.
“Seascape,” the most romantic, is perfect for two with its ultra-modern, contemporary architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, water views and outdoor lounge area with fireplace.
Secluded “Shepherd’s Cottage” offers views of the Pacific Ocean and Kaikoura mountain ranges, an outdoor bath and fabulous gardens.
“With its rolling farmland, open skies, and sea-bay views – Annandale is an undiscovered gem. And we are excited to introduce it to our US and Canadian travel advisors,” says founding partner Anthony Cifelli.
Annandale, which serves sea-to-table cuisine; fresh-from-the-garden vegetables and grass-fed beef/lamb raised on property, is located on the north side of Banks Peninsula overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Pigeon Bay. It is a 30-minute drive from Akaroa; a one-hour and 15-minute drive (or 15-minute helicopter ride) from Christchurch.
